We remove all emotion out of the equation by first establishing a set of essential risk characteristic's based on your specific personal and commercial needs. Each characteristic is carefully weighted to determine an ideal total score that signals if a business is a fit for you. Businesses must meet a minimum score to progress to the next stage with you.
+ How do we get started?
Our first consultation will go for around 90 minutes. This consultation is no obligation. During this session we are looking to understand your risk appetite as a buyer. Factors such as your net assets, dependents, age, commercial experience, relevant skills, and the type of business will guide us in developing a scope of work for your consideration
+ How long will it take to find the right business?
This can depend on the industry, or how niche your needs are. Typically we would expect to find you the ideal business and start submitting offers on businesses within 3 months.
+ What are the fees and when do I pay?
We tailor all of our fees based on the scope of work and your instruction. Our Advisors will provide you with a detailed scope outlining the key deliverables, fee structure and timing of payments before you commit. The majority of our fees are paid on the successful completion of the deal. Our ability to source you a better deal and with better terms always covers our fees.
+ I just need assistance with due diligence?
Yes, we do this all day everyday for sellers and buyers. Due diligence is critical to developing objective and defensible negotiating levers and framing the right deal terms for the transaction to ensure that the sale process is rewarding for both parties. This is typically a fixed fee based on the simplicity of the business records. We collaborate with both parties with a time is of the essence approach and always communicate the "why" behind our investigations.
