We understand that a business is central to the lives of so many people, not just the owner/s. A business is the livelihood of the staff; impacts customers, the community and other businesses that operate within its vertical ecosystem.

2019 has been a blast, looking back we have accomplished so much. Our pursuit to set new standards will never stop. We are constantly on a mission to improve our processes, implement technology and streamline the buying/selling process for our clients. We have delivered some exciting new technology into our infrastructure which will allow our Brokers to work more efficiently and effectively with clients.


For us, 2020 will be all about building our 2 brands in the marketplace through education. Next year we have in store a lot of top-quality content about how to sell and buy a business, we can’t wait to share this with you all and launch it into the market.

We also can’t wait to formally introduce you to our 2 newest team members that have joined the Vision family in the latter part of 2019.

MYBIZSALE will officially launch in January. We know this will be a game-changer for our sellers of businesses under $500k enterprise value. One of our (soft launch) MYBIZSALE clients has already received an offer on their business after just 6 weeks!

MYBIZSALE is a subscription-based model that supports and guides sellers through their journey, with no locked-in contracts. This service brings the expertise of a business broker to the transaction, it connects buyers with the seller far earlier on in the piece. This will be a great solution for so many sellers who need help with the business selling process, yet don’t have the resources or expertise to effectively manage this alone … not to mention the huge cost savings as there is no commission payable to the broker.


Something is definitely brewing! If you have been involved in buying or selling a business in the last 6 months, it is likely you would have noticed that there is indeed something brewing in the market.

We have our ears to the ground and are speaking with hundreds-thousands of buyers and sellers every year, both nationally and abroad. We like to think our fingers are on the pulse when it comes to the market, and right now we are asking a big question – where is the market heading?

Businesses have seen huge levels of disruption in the last 3 years for numerous reasons. To survive and flourish we all need to adapt; the truth is, the methods of operating and selling a business needs to evolve.

We have heard from many other brokers/brokerage firms and sellers that the market is terrible, we couldn’t disagree more. In our view the market has NOT gone backwards in any substantial way. What has changed are the expectations of buyers when it comes to their approach in assessing a business, so our focus and the critical key to a successful sale is subject to the information that is made available.

Selling a business in 2020 will be all about the seller’s ability to prepare their business and information adequality before their business is taken to the marketplace. Brokers and sellers who fail to work collaboratively together during their pre-market preparation phase will not achieve a sale.

We have geared our whole process towards this vital part of the selling process, in fact we have dedicated a whole phase of education for our brokers and clients to prepare them for the market journey that lies ahead.
